TriTech Software Systems, formerly known as American Tritech, is a public safety software company based in San Diego, California, with offices in San Ramon, California; Hillsboro, Oregon; Decorah, Iowa; Castle Hayne, North Carolina; Melville, New York; Marlborough, Massachusetts; and Montreal, Canada. TriTech is the leading manufacturer of emergency-response software that is primarily used in the United States but also has customers in Canada, El Salvador, Panama, Chile, Argentina, Egypt, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
History
TriTech was founded in 1991 in San Diego, California by Christopher D. Maloney. Chris interned at San Diego emergency transport company where he saw the need for a more efficient dispatch paradigm. TriTechâs first products were for the emergency transport market and was originally named American TriTech but was renamed in 1998 to TriTech Software Systems, as the company's business was not limited to the United States.
Products
TriTech builds, implements, and supports product suites that are solely focused on public safety. These suites form an end-to-end, complete solution for all agency types (Law, Fire, EMS) and all agency sizes. TriTech supports five distinct product lines.

November 2007 â" TriTech acquires Information Management Corp (IMC) of Massachusetts
March 2010 â" TriTech acquires Ortivus North America, located in Decorah, Iowa, from Ortivus AB
September 2011 â" TriTech acquires VisionAIR, a privately held company located in Castle Hayne, North Carolina
December 2011 â" TriTech acquires the assets of 9-1-1 Inc. of Denver, Colorado
February 6, 2015 â" TriTech announces acquisition of Tiburon, Inc., headquartered in San Ramon, California
August 12, 2015 â" Tritech announces acquisition of Zuercher Technologies of Sioux Falls, South Dakota
February 29, 2016 â" Tritech announces acquisition of The Omega Group, also headquartered in San Diego, California from Trimble Navigation, expanding its capabilities to GIS-based crime and fire analysis
